Kinesiology Taping

Support for the body's own healing processes

Kinesiology tape was developed in the 1980s by the Japanese Nitto Denko Corporation in co-operation with a Japanese chiropractor and used for the treatment method of "Kinesiology Taping".

The colourful tapes are designed so that when correctly applied they assist the body's own healing processes, relieve pain, improve mobility, give support to the joints and activate the lymphatic system.

K-Active Tapes are used as a supplement to many types of treatment to improve the outcome. The key to good functional results lies in the synergy of all parts.

Many years of experience with kinesiology taping have shown that K-Active Taping can be applied successfully for prevention of injury, treatment of many types of painful conditions and in postoperative and post-traumatic situations:

painful and restricted movement, muscular dysfunction, sports injuries, osteoarthritis, spinal/intervertebral disc problems, sciatica, sacroiliac joint syndrome, poor posture, headache, migraine, epicondylitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, lymphoedema, paralysis, polyneuropathy and many more.

The cost of kinesiology taping depends on the amount of material and time involved. Usually, taping of joints ("small" tape) costs 15,00 Euros, and taping of the spine ("large" tape) 24,40 Euros.
